Rise & Shine: This Thursday: A story I've been waiting to tell

There was a moment in my career that broke me open.

Not a layoff. Not a bad review. Not some dramatic failure.

On the outside, everything looked great. I had the title. The salary. The team. The career I'd spent years building.

But inside? I was empty.
